{Freebie} For your Read 180 Classroom

I LOVE teaching Read 180! Keeping the students organized can be a challenge, especially the various writing pieces. Ultimately I found that it was easiest to keep all of the writing in a journal organized by workshop. I use the following journal pages to create journals of 10-15 double sided pages.

Why not just any notebook?
Once you create the journal for the student to write in, they can be stored right in the R—book for the duration of the workshop. Anytime the student needs more space for a written answer, it is handy! It also provides a nice place for  the student to begin workshop writing projects. I noticed it is easy for students to refer back to their previous written pieces when using the journals. Now grading time… well it is so much easier to carry home a stack of journals vs. a mountain of composition notebooks!

The titles of workshops appear on each cover page. No other materials from the Read 180 program appear within this document.
