"Alien for Rent" -- Reading and Writing Fiction in the Classroom

This week my reading class is reading Betsy Duffey's "Alien for  Rent", a fun little fiction chapter book in Scholastic's Sprint Series.

 

In addition to the phonics and comprehension questions that are in the student workbook, I designed a short writing assignment for the students. It is a nice creative way to supplement our language arts class.
